  • What is a Ukrainian manicure?

The Ukrainian manicure is a meticulous dry technique focused on clean cuticle work, precision shaping, and long-lasting polish. It emphasizes both aesthetics and nail health, using professional-grade tools and European standards of care.

  • What is a waterless pedicure, and is it safe?

Yes, it’s safe—and even better for your skin and nails! A waterless pedicure is done without soaking the feet in water. This method is more hygienic, prevents skin over-softening, and allows for better exfoliation and polish adherence.

  •  How long do the manicure and pedicure services last?

Our Ukrainian manicures typically last 3–5 weeks without chipping or peeling. Waterless pedicures can last 4–6 weeks. Results may vary based on lifestyle and nail condition.

  • Who is Ukrainian Gel Manicure suitable for?

Gel Polish Ukrainian Manicure and Hard Gel Manicure are the best options for:
    ● For individuals who lead active lifestyles or have hands that are frequently in water. The gel’s durability resists chipping, making it perfect for people who need a manicure that will withstand physical activity.● For individuals with Weak or Brittle Nails: The gel helps strengthen and protect natural nails, making it a great choice for those with nails that tend to break or peel easily.● Busy Professionals: People who don’t have time for frequent nail touch-ups will appreciate the longevity of the Ukrainian gel manicure. It can last up to 3-5 weeks without losing its shine.● Those Seeking a Polished Look: The Ukrainian gel manicure provides a sophisticated, high-gloss finish that is perfect for people looking for a sleek, professional appearance.● People with Sensitive Skin: The technique uses gentle methods, making it suitable for those with sensitive cuticles or skin around the nails.

  • Is Ukrainian/Russian manicure safe for natural nails?

Absolutely. When performed by trained professionals using sterilized tools (as we do at Krasunya), this method is safe, gentle, and ideal for maintaining healthy, beautiful nails.

  • Do you use electric files (e-file)?

Yes, we use high-quality e-files designed specifically for safe and effective cuticle and nail plate work. Our technicians are licensed and trained in advanced e-file techniques.

  • Is your salon clean and hygienic?

Yes, absolutely. We follow strict sanitation protocols. All tools are disinfected and sterilized after each use, and disposable materials are used where appropriate.

  • What aftercare steps should I follow to maintain the durability of a Ukrainian manicure?

    Our recommendations after the procedures:
    ● Avoid Excessive Moisture: Minimize prolonged exposure to water, as it can weaken the manicure;● Use gloves while doing household chores like washing dishes or cleaning;● Moisturize Regularly: Keep your cuticles hydrated by applying cuticle oil daily. This helps prevent dryness and cracking;● Use a Nail Strengthener: Apply a clear, strengthening top coat every few days to protect your manicure and keep it looking fresh;● Avoid Using Nails as Tools: Refrain from using your nails to open packages or perform tasks that could cause them to chip or break;● Be Gentle with Hands: Avoid harsh chemicals and extreme temperatures that can affect the manicure’s longevity;● Visit regular your nail technician.

  • Can I bring my own nail polish?

We use only salon-approved products and tools to ensure the highest quality and hygiene standards. However, in some cases we allow the use of regular nail polish brought by the client, if it is their favorite color. In this case, an additional fee may apply.
